Ranjna Patel: Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year Awards semi-finalist!

A huge congratulations to Tamaki Health's incredible Co-Founder and Director Ranjna Patel, who has been announced as one of ten semi-finalists in the Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year Awards!

Ranjna also recently won the Community Hero award at the 2020 Westpac Women of Influence Awards this past November, among a multitude of other awards to date, and we're so happy to see her huge contributions to society being recognised.

The Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year Awards "celebrate Kiwis from all walks of life; those who inspire, give hope and lead across the six different Award categories. The Awards encourage New Zealanders to honour extraordinary Kiwis; those who use their passion to make Aotearoa a better place." This is certainly all true of Ranjna, and she is in esteemed company, with the ten finalists this year providing a stellar line-up. You can read about them all here.

Previous recipients of the award (now in its 12th year) include Jennifer Te Atamira Ward-Lealand (2020), Mike King (2019), Kristine Bartlett (2018), Taika Waititi (2017), Richie McCaw (2016), Sir Stephen Tindall (2015), Dr Lance O’Sullivan (2014), Dame Anne Salmond (2013), Sir Richard Taylor (2012), Sir Paul Callaghan (2011) and Sir Ray Avery (2010).

Three finalists will be announced on 1 March and the winner announced on 31 March at the Gala Dinner.

We wish Ranjna all the best for the award. Thank you for your incredible work Ranjna!
